"I am pleased to write this Letter of Reference for Richard "Joe" Patterson. I worked with Joe on two projects for Colorado Engineering Inc. located at 1915 Jamboree Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80920. Richard managed the construction of the building addition which was approximately 6,000 square feet for high bay manufacturing. The referenced addition included new eccentrically loaded foundations against the existing building as well as a 2 hour Fire Wall separating the existing building and new addition as well as complicated interface between Pre-Engineered metal building structure and conventional framing. The referenced project was a Class B Lab (B- Occupancy Designation under the 2015 IBC). and was built as a 'Ground-up' construction project. Based on our site visits and coordination with Richard, I believe he understood the building code and all aspects of the construction process. Richard maintained a safe and clean job site.
